Sat 21 Jan: Godstone to Edenbridge; 8½ miles

Footbridge in Staffhurst WoodA fairly flat walk through Surrey farmland and woodland. We will stop for lunch after about four miles at the Royal Oak in Staffhurst Wood. The walk, including stops for rests, should take around five and a half hours.

You can download a map, elevation profile, and aerial photograph here.

You can also look at a map and aerial photograph side by side at the brilliant Where's the path? site, though the route is not marked on that.

Meet either at Godstone station at 1027, or on the 0945 Tonbridge train from platform 8* at London Bridge. If travelling by train, buy a cheap day return ticket to Edenbridge, which is the farther station from London. I will be carrying a PFA bulletin for identification.

For more information about this or any other PFA walk, phone me on 07904 286774, or email me at secretary@pfalondon.org
