Sat 18 Feb: Penshurst circular; 9½ miles

Stile on the edge of Home CovertA fairly easy walk through Kent farmland. It's not totally flat but there aren't any real hills either. There will be a meal break roughly half way at the Cock Horse on the B245.

The walk, including the meal stop, should take around six hours. You can download a map, aerial photograph and elevation profile here.

You can also look at a map and aerial photograph side by side at the brilliant Where's the path? site, though the route is not marked on that.

Meet either at Penshurst station at 0939, or on the 0845 Tonbridge train from platform 8* at London Bridge. If travelling by train, buy a cheap day return ticket to Penshurst. I will be carrying a PFA bulletin for identification.

For more information about this or any other PFA walk, phone me on 07904 286774, or email me at secretary@pfalondon.org
